DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION
We believe that by valuing diversity, promoting equity, and fostering inclusion, we can build a better future for our company and our community. Our approach to DEI originates from our brand pillars and core values.
DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION (DEI)
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) have their origins in social justice movements and efforts to address systemic inequalities and discrimination. The concept of diversity emerged in response to the civil rights movement in the 1960s, aiming to acknowledge and embrace the differences in backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives among individuals, particularly those from marginalized groups.

Equity, on the other hand, is rooted in the notion of fairness and equal access to opportunities and resources. It recognizes that different individuals may face varying barriers that hinder their access to equal opportunities, and seeks to address those disparities in a just and impartial manner.

Inclusion builds upon the foundations of diversity and equity, emphasizing the creation of an environment that is welcoming, supportive, and fosters a sense of belonging for all individuals, irrespective of their backgrounds or identities. Inclusion acknowledges that having diversity and equity alone is insufficient, and that individuals must feel valued, respected, and included to truly thrive.

DEI embodies the belief that every person deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, and should have equal access to opportunities and resources, regardless of their backgrounds or identities. We understand that cultivating a workplace that genuinely values DEI requires more than just good intentions; it demands tangible actions, a commitment to continuous learning, and a willingness to evolve. We are dedicated to creating a workplace that is free from discrimination and harassment, where every employee is treated with dignity and respect, and has equal opportunities to succeed and thrive.
